We ate alot when we were in Thailand and this is one of the- suckling pig... yummy! the crispy skins with warm sauce and steamy bread- it is just wonderful! We had this at May Flower inside Dusiti Tani Hotel. But realised that our Peninsula Hotel has the same thing, too! So, we had one on the last night in Thailand as well! 

Trip to Thailand

It is a very important trip for us for both Ian and I have been working extremely hard during 2006 and we needed a good break as well as some time to spend with our families.

so here we go- we moved into the Peninsular Bangkok and stayed there for 4 nights! Of course, it was more than great, it was really really really extremely good! So much fun just lying around the pool and getting food and drinks bought to you! Having breakfast along the river every morning is another good thing, too! Woow! 

My Trip in Thailand - Ayutthaya

The King's Summer Palace - Bang Pa-In Palace
It is really beautiful here. The king dosen't come here anymore for Summer, but it is a important residence for any diplomatic visits. I think Queen Sophia has just been here a month ago and so some of the buildings were still out of bond when we visited the place.

This is the observatory which is built in Russian style (I can't remember all... em..)

I think it is a pretty nice building!
